Tom Anderson is a lifelong Alaskan. He is the managing partner at Optima Public Relations & Advertising (www.OptimaPublicRelations.com) and is a freelance writer for many publications including the Alaska Business Monthly Magazine, Alaska Politics & Elections, Arctic Sounder and Bristol Bay Times, The Hill and BizPac Review.

Tom holds a J.D. from Hamline University School of Law, Masters in Public Administration and Bachelor of Political Science from University of Alaska, Anchorage. His public service includes two terms in the Alaska State Legislature as a state representative, an appointment to the Anchorage School Board, and service on the Parking Authority, Light & Power Commission and Zoning Board of Examiners & Appeals in Anchorage. He is a Rotarian, chamber member and active with numerous non-profits.
